Here's a vintage
GRUMBACHER ARTIST OIL PAINT SET no. 505
. Box includes nine 1.25 fluid oz. tubes of paint, 5.07 fluid oz. tube of Zinc White, eight paint brushes, palette knife, 2.5 fluid oz. bottle of linseed oil, empty 2.5 fluid oz. bottle of Grumtine paint thinner, two small metal pots with clips, wooden palette board, two 9" x 12" Canvas Panels, "Art of Oil Painting" book, and a guide to color mixing.
The set looks like it was unused but has suffered damage through the years. The tubes of oil paint seem full, and brushes look unused. The paint thinner has leaked out or evaporated. One of the canvas panels has stains, the tube of Zinc White feels pretty hard, and worst of all is the tube of 'Viridian' oil paint has gunk leaking from the bottom and the bottom of the tube has broken open. Box has some tape on it.
Other than the condition of the one tube of paint and the paint thinner bottle being empty the rest of the set is in
VERY GOOD
CONDITION.
